And Moses let his father-in-law depart; and he went his way into his own land.

וילך לו אל ארצו. לְגַיֵּר בְּנֵי מִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ (מכילתא):
וילך לו אל ארצו AND HE WENT HIS WAY INTO HIS OWN LAND, for the purpose of making proselytes of the members of his family (Mekhilta).
