Yoma (The Day) is a tractate in the Moed section of the Talmud dedicated entirely to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It details the preparatory week of the High Priest, the elaborate Temple service of the day including the entering of the Holy of Holies and the scapegoat ceremony, and the laws of fasting and repentance observed to this day.
