JPS-1917וְעָלָ֖יו מַטֵּ֣ה מְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־פְּדָהצֽוּר׃
and next unto him shall be the tribe of Manasseh; the prince of the children of Manasseh being Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur,

ועליו. כְּתַרְגּוּמוֹ "וְדִסְמִיכִין עֲלוֹהִי":
ועליו — Understand this as the Targum does: and those who were close to him were the tribe of Manasseh.
