Yehoshua (Joshua) belongs to the Nevi'im (Prophets) section of the Tanakh and recounts Israel's conquest and settlement of Canaan under Joshua's leadership after Moses's death. It describes the military campaigns, the division of the land among the twelve tribes, and Joshua's final covenant renewal ceremony at Shechem.
