Yeremia 13:11
JPS-1917כִּ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יִדְבַּ֨ק הָאֵז֜וֹר אֶל־מׇתְנֵי־אִ֗ישׁ כֵּ֣ן הִדְבַּ֣קְתִּי אֵ֠לַ֠י אֶת־כׇּל־בֵּ֨ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל וְאֶת־כׇּל־בֵּ֤ית יְהוּדָה֙ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֔ה לִֽהְי֥וֹת לִי֙ לְעָ֔ם וּלְשֵׁ֥ם וְלִתְהִלָּ֖ה וּלְתִפְאָ֑רֶת וְלֹ֖א שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃
For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto Me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD, that they might be unto Me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory; but they would not hearken.

For as the girdle cleaves to the loins of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Yisra᾽el and the whole house of Yehuda, to cleave to me, says the Lord; that they might be to me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
