Ezra-Nehemiah 12:17
JPS-1917וָאוֹמַ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם אַתֶּ֤ם רֹאִים֙ הָרָעָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲנַ֣חְנוּ בָ֔הּ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ חֲרֵבָ֔ה וּשְׁעָרֶ֖יהָ נִצְּת֣וּ בָאֵ֑שׁ לְכ֗וּ וְנִבְנֶה֙ אֶת־חוֹמַ֣ת יְרוּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם וְלֹא־נִהְיֶ֥ה ע֖וֹד חֶרְפָּֽה׃
Then said I unto them: ‘Ye see the evil case that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire; come and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.’

Then said I to them, You see the distress that we are in, how Yerushalayim lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire: come and let us build up the wall of Yerushalayim, so that we no longer suffer insult.
