Ruth רות

Megillat Ruth (Ruth) is a short narrative of the Ketuvim set in the period of the judges, telling the story of the Moabite widow Ruth who accompanies her mother-in-law Naomi to Bethlehem and declares the famous vow of loyalty. Ruth's conversion to Judaism and marriage to Boaz places her in the lineage of King David.
