Parashá Vayechi ויחי

Vayechi covers Genesis 47:28–50:26, the final Torah portion in Genesis, in which Jacob blesses each of his twelve sons with prophetic blessings before his death at age 147. After Jacob's burial in Canaan, Joseph reassures his brothers of his forgiveness, and the portion ends with Joseph's death and his request to be carried to the Promised Land.
