Judges 13:1
JPS-1917וַיֹּסִ֙יפוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה וַיִּתְּנֵ֧ם יְהֹוָ֛ה בְּיַד־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃ {פ}
And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.

And the children of Yisra᾽el continued to do evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Pelishtim for forty years.
