JPS-1917כִּֽי־חָ֥לָֽה לְט֖וֹב יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת מָר֑וֹת כִּֽי־יָ֤רַד רָע֙ מֵאֵ֣ת יְהֹוָ֔ה לְשַׁ֖עַר יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good; Because evil is come down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

KOREN
For the inhabitant of Marot waited carefully for good tidings: but evil came down from the Lord to the gate of Yerushalayim.
