וַיִּרְא֥וּ בְנֵֽי־בִנְיָמִ֖ן כִּ֣י נִגָּ֑פוּ וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אִֽישׁ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל מָקוֹם֙ לְבִנְיָמִ֔ן כִּ֤י בָֽטְחוּ֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֹרֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֖מוּ אֶל־הַגִּבְעָֽה׃

So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten. And the men of Israel gave place to Benjamin, because they trusted unto the liers-in-wait whom they had set against Gibeah.—

KOREN

So the children of Binyamin saw that they were beaten: for the men of Yisra᾽el gave place to Binyamin, because they trusted to the liers in wait which they had set beside Giv῾a.
