JPS-1917וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אֲדֹנִי־צֶ֜דֶק מֶ֣לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם כִּֽי־לָכַ֨ד יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ אֶת־הָעַי֮ וַיַּחֲרִימָהּ֒ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֤ה לִֽירִיחוֹ֙ וּלְמַלְכָּ֔הּ כֵּן־עָשָׂ֥ה לָעַ֖י וּלְמַלְכָּ֑הּ וְכִ֨י הִשְׁלִ֜ימוּ יֹשְׁבֵ֤י גִבְעוֹן֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ בְּקִרְבָּֽם׃
Now it came to pass, when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

Now it came to pass, when Adoni-żedeq king of Yerushalayim had heard how Yehoshua had taken ῾Ay, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Yeriĥo and her king, so he had done to ῾Ay and her king; and how the inhabitants of Giv῾on had made peace with Yisra᾽el, and were among them;
וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ אֲדֹנִי־צֶ֜דֶק מֶ֣לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם כִּֽי־לָכַ֨ד יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ אֶת־הָעַי֮ וַיַּחֲרִימָהּ֒ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֤ה לִֽירִיחוֹ֙ וּלְמַלְכָּ֔הּ כֵּן־עָשָׂ֥ה לָעַ֖י וּלְמַלְכָּ֑הּ וְכִ֨י הִשְׁלִ֜ימוּ יֹשְׁבֵ֤י גִבְעוֹן֙ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ בְּקִרְבָּֽם׃
