Hanukkah חנוכה

The Festival of Lights — an eight-day holiday commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem after the Maccabean revolt (164 BCE). The menorah is lit each night, adding one candle, commemorating the miracle of oil that lasted eight days.
