JPS-1917וַיִּכְרֹ֥ת יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן עִם־בֵּ֣ית דָּוִ֑ד וּבִקֵּ֣שׁ יְהֹוָ֔ה מִיַּ֖ד אֹיְבֵ֥י דָוִֽד׃
So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David: ‘The LORD even require it at the hand of David’s enemies.’
