JPS-1917וְעַתָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה קַח־נָ֥א אֶת־נַפְשִׁ֖י מִמֶּ֑נִּי כִּ֛י ט֥וֹב מוֹתִ֖י מֵחַיָּֽי׃ {פ}
Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech Thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.’
