The Festival of Weeks — commemorates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, 50 days after the Exodus. Also a harvest festival (Feast of First Fruits). The Book of Ruth is read, and dairy foods are traditionally eaten. All-night Torah study (Tikkun Leil) is customary.
