JPS-1917וַיֵּ֥שְׁתְּ מִן־הַיַּ֖יִן וַיִּשְׁכָּ֑ר וַיִּתְגַּ֖ל בְּת֥וֹךְ אׇהֳלֹֽה׃
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

ויתגל. לְשׁוֹן וַיִּתְפַּעֵל:
אהלה. אהלה כְּתִיב, רֶמֶז לְי' שְׁבָטִים שֶׁנִּקְרְאוּ עַל שֵׁם שׁוֹמְרוֹן, שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת אָהֳלָה שֶׁגָּלוּ עַל עִסְקֵי הַיַּיִן שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר הַשֹּׁתִים בְּמִזְרְקֵי יַיִן (עמוס ו'):
