JPS-1917וּֽשְׁמַעְיָ֤ה הַנָּבִיא֙ בָּ֣א אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֔ם וְשָׂרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם מִפְּנֵ֣י שִׁישָׁ֑ק וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לָהֶ֜ם כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֗ה אַתֶּם֙ עֲזַבְתֶּ֣ם אֹתִ֔י וְאַף־אֲנִ֛י עָזַ֥בְתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם בְּיַד־שִׁישָֽׁק׃
Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them: ‘Thus saith the LORD: Ye have forsaken Me, therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.’

Then came Shema῾ya the prophet to Reĥav῾am, and to the princes of Yehuda, who were fathered together to Yerushalayim, because of Shishaq, and he said to them, Thus says the Lord, You have forsaken me, and therefore I have abandoned you to the hand of Shishaq.
